I agree 💯 with the idea that great 3 point shooting is entertaining to watch. People that complain are just trying to sound cool. Really just curmudgeons. It’s an ebb and flow. Defenses will adjust to run great 3 point shooting teams off the line. Which will open up the paint. It’s just like trends in the NFL with run and pass. It’s all an ebb and flow. People love to say nobody plays defense. Ummm no. The rules do make it harder to play defense, but also the skill and shooting ability in the NBA is miles above where it’s ever been.

💯 % my sentiment! I can tell that most people that likes old school grunt style of basketball is the best but they don't realize that it destroys the beauty of the sport. Dirty tactics just to hurt a great player is not basketball. It's MMA which now is a sport and they don't have to a basketball to watch a fight. Which, by the way, it's what they REALLY want.

It was a Golden State blackout. Vegas has 3 "local market teams": Lakers, Clippers, and Warriors. I'm so tired of not being able to watch my team.

Yeah watching a game when teams are hitting a high percentage of 3s is ok but then you have a game like last nite . Okc was 5 for 32 on 3s and got blown out that game was not fun to watch except seeing okc lose so badly.

When everybody counted Kyrie out he came to Dallas and embrace the organization and started winning with Luka and becoming top 5 best duo's in the NBA today. When Klay went 0-10 and klay wanted a ext the whole organization let him walk .. now he come to Dallas and making an impact Luka doesn't get the MVP credit ?? 🤔🤔🤔 😎

When Luka is having an insane MVP year but doesn't win cause his team was bad. NOW when his team is good and he has MVP stats he shouldnt be MVP cause his team is too good? MVP Award has become a joke.

The 3-point discussion, my take: The problem imo is that it takes a lot of skill to become a good three-point shooter. Like, I don't think kids can develop all the rest of the skills to the same capacity but heck I'm probably wrong but we'll see in 20 years. No, I don't mind good shooters at all, but it's boring to see a lot of misses... Which is a reality on every court everywhere, not just NBA. It's pretty pathetic to see tall players shoot threes. I think this trend removes a bit from basketball but not from every game.

So dumb to watch people fail to understand over and over. Steph Curry is more or less the best 3pt shooter in history and he misses 6 out of 10 times. Other players are worse. Last Finals, Boston shot 33% snd Dallas shot in the high 20%. Watching players miss shot after shot as they pass up opportunities to get a better percentage shot is BORING to watch. People who are entertained by 3pt shooting are the same ones who like to watch other people play video games on KZbin. 🙄

33.3 % 3 pt.shooting is equivalent to 50 % 2 pt. shooting. So players shooting 37% is a really good %.
