The sixth run of the ‪@poorboysrc‬ Tamiya MF-01X speed run challenge 2024. This run was to see if running the pinion gear on the idler gear was faster than running it on the spur gear

Noce rins Rob. For the sound I'm thinking of the body rubbing on the tires and the wobbling firering back on your front wing, which is forcing the body down on the wheels at the same time. If you have the time you can test it running without the wing.

I'm not sure what that buzzing is either, but that thing sounds mean and moving when you gave it the beans, there! Good run McRob!

Awesome run Rob. My last run, that will be up tomorrow, was a bit disappointing as well. I think with the setup I’m running I’ve reached the cars limits. But this challenge has been a blast.

That car needs a longer run. It was just starting to wind up. That sound is probably the tires spinning from loss of traction. I had a similar sound . It went away after I locked the front and rear diffs. Great run!

Might not be able to get spinning to full RPM on the short runway. Still a darn good try and it did not smash into any curbs so it was a good run! It won't stop misting and raining here so I have not been back out yet with mine, not sure it will happen in time for an official run but it will go back out regardless.

If you had a proper runway I think it would be faster. Need more time to get to speed I think. Great Job Rob!
