Thanks so much for unearthing that '63 Olds Ninety-Eight. Like others, my father bought one EXACTLY like that (Black 4-dr HT with silver interior and the 345-horse 394 with 10.5:1 compression, new in 1963 (traded in our 1958 Plymouth Sport Wagon). This was Dad's favorite, and he would talk about it for decades, even after he traded it again in 1968. All 7 of us traveled cross country on family vaca's in that honey, w/ me perched atop a STOOL that Dad had to bolt to the floor in order for us to fit. Can you imagine that sh*t now??? Literally on his deathbed at 86, he told me how proud he was of me for being so brave as a child to sit on that stool. So, yeah, the sight of that car brings back wonderful memories to me. Thank you so much for finding one!!

Nice 👍🎉 I'm trying to remember the old adage about rims, GM will fit itself, Ferd and Mopar will fit each other or it'll be close. I think the bolt pattern is the same but the center holes are different. It should have the 394 Cid 330 h.p. 10.25-1 high compression engine, yeehaa! She's a goer!👍 I love old muscle cars and older cars, after the mid 70's for me, that's a wrap. Another thing is don't use car covers on them! Dennis Collins on here recovers more cars then anyone, and he noticed that covered cars in the same spot compared to uncovered rotted way faster and worse cuz the cover traps the moisture and doesn't let it evaporate, so it rusts then rots the car to shit! Cool you made your costs back! She'll run!👍😁 Have you seen the rollers made from plywood? Dude just measured the bolt pattern, drilled holes and they worked!

That is a 394 V8 with 345HP rating, 88's were around 300, the Transmission is a Roto-hydramatic (slim Jim) unit, and they work fine when New, but pretty weak when you abuse them, lot's of good trinkets you can sell and get your money Back, so try and Save on those Tail lamps and Side Trim etc. My Dad had two 88's I had a '62 88 , Save that third Member it's Beefy put that in your Hot Rod if you build one.
