The reason you're getting older videos in your recommendations is because they're being viewed by a certain percentage of people on KZbin so the algorithm thinks its a relevant video to share to others. Personally, for the past month I've been watching videos like this one. Short clips that are kinda stupid but entertaining and I'm sure I'm not the only one. The fact you clicked on it, watched it AND commented will only add more of these types and aged videos to your feed. You're helping feed the algorithm and telling it you want to watch more of these.
