When they wrapped up shooting in eiffel and the crew was going through one of the main lanes they were stopped by gendarmes, where a car had met with a fatal accident and were waiting for ambulances to arrive but were impeded and surrounded by paparazzi. It was Princess Diana and al Fayed, taking their last breaths while this film crew was in the adjacent lane.

Lyrically btw this song is gorgeous, the male lead is basically saying that there are seven wonders in the world and that she's his eighth wonder. The actress Aishwarya Rai isn't just known for her eyes, she was crowned Miss World in the 90s. This movie had a pretty big budget, they visited all the wonders of the world for this ONE song (then again its a Shankar movie and that man is known for extravagance in film, especially his music videos)

No you both are wrong - it was shot at all real locations and for that reason the movie was the most expensive one at that times. The concept was to show that she was the next wonder of the world for him - his big wonder and that's y his eyes are all set only on her and nothing else. Further more CGI was not that advance during those days abd for there is a CGI dance sequence and you can the diff clearly as the interface were not good enough to mask it let alone see the jittering too which in itself shows they shot at real location excerpt the part of close up of Aiswarya's a Cleopatra close up shots in black head dress where u can tell it was inserted to show her as cleopatra unlike at location site Another reason is unlike Hollywood where they do it mix musicals or dances in serous movie - the Indians add them to gv the element of fantasy and to engage the various interest of the differing demographics and one key feature is the "sofa tourism" to gv those who can't afford to visit these famous tourism sites or sceneries to them which is a money spinner where and when patrons revisit the cinema just to watch the beautiful scenes over and over again churning money for the producers as that is the intention of the production.

They were on every single location to potray the seven wonders of the world. It is not very hard to visit the 7 wonders. Yes the translation does not do any justice. BTW Aishwarya is from my hometown. Not a fan of her though. Jeans is a play on the word "Genes" since the guy in the movie has a twin and Aishwarya then plays both her and her twin. Jodi's killing it with her all hair colors. The blonde look I thought was awesome and now the brunette is just Wow!
