I recently picked up these Ajazz x Huano Banana switches and just had to share them. I guess I'm back at the youtube game?

I'd really like any and all feedback on the video itself if you could. This is a first attempt at seriously coming back to youtube and a first review for me. Please let me know where I could improve and how. Thank you for your time!

I really appreciated the lubed/unlubed comparison and pressing the different shaped keys on the board instead of a few of the lettered ones. I liked the level of humor to info too. Welcome back and thanks for the great video review
@DirtyGingy2 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I'm not a fan of cherry profile myself, but I know many are and would miss out without that baseline. I'm hoping that I can get a tighter pacing for the script and footage in the next one though

The review covers many points of comparison especially with other "sweethearts" of budget tactiles. I think there's a comment about the background music being quite too loud at the beginning. Honestly, the content lies on you giving the information and at the beginning - mid of the video, it is slightly drowned by the music. It's a minor issue though. The format is something that I enjoy. On the humor in general and also the succinct explanation of the top and bottom housing and spring housing (all the basics, it's all good pacing). The typing test outside and with using the keyboard, while I'm sure there are others doing that, still something that I appreciate. While I am personally not a fan of RGB and I highly prefer non-RGB keyboard, showing the RGB coloration on the clear top housing switch is something that I appreciate too. Speaking from past experiences when I was a newbie, I would be easily confused whether the clear top with not completely transparent top housing might impact the RGB lighting. It's minor detail, but I liked it. As a result, I have immediately bought the Ajazz switches because the comparison and the information on how the tactility feel. The different keycaps profile being used for comparison is one of many good points of the video. I'm sure the others are already mentioning any good points that I am about to mention. The length of the video is just right (though I am completely fine with tweaking the length of the video). I never made videos before. So, this is strictly my subjective opinion on the video. Overall, I liked the video.

Now that was very helpful. Thanks for the feedback. I have some minor tweaks to help with the information on later videos, but this feedback is gold. Thank you for the help, I hope you love the switches, and I'll have to get started on the next project soon

I love your delivery, description, and comparisons. !!! Here's a really long story about how I got here. I have been recycling switches from donated broken mech boards or buying "for parts" boards on eBay to make 3d printed fidgets. Everything I had gotten for the first few months were cherry clones or gateron box switches. Clicky cheap switches are great but I started making translucent fidgets and the plain colors were just not doing it for me so I got some akko lavender switches and liked them alot. I wanted different color ways so I ended up getting some bananas. When I got a banana switch in a fidget I knew it was time to cast aside my hyperx TKL (aqua switches) and get a hot swap board. I got in a GMMK pro and Akko pudding caps and tried one of everything that had clean pins and was 90% certain I would be going with the bananas. You officially pushed me to 💯. Thanks for the video, I can't wait to see what's next but I wonder how you will handle a negative review.

I think these are the light tactile switches that I looking for. I use MX browns but sometimes they fatigue my fingers... Are the ajazz bananas lighter and smoother than Cherry MX Brown?

@@DirtyGingy Thank you for your reply! I have found that some switches are "acceptable un-lubed". Lubbing definitely helps all kinds of switches, but from my experience some have very minimal improvement. Therefore, I always try to gauge the improvement/effort ratio because some switches are really not worth the effort. Do you think lubing them might reduce their tactility? Any recommended lubing technique?

@@DirtyGingy I finally got my first mechanical keyboard. The vissles v84. And I took no less than a week to order these switches and swap them out. I prefer these more than the azure dragons as these have a lower pitch to them than the azure dragons. Both have nice tactility but this one really takes the cake, considering how much cheaper they are. I actually had them in my arcade stick buttons which support mechanical switches. I really like them there so I thought they'd definitely be my choice on my first keyboard, and I don't regret it one bit. I'll keep them stock for now till I have the time to bother to lube and film them. I'm also sort of dragging this comment out just to have an excuse to type on this keyboard for just that tad bit longer.

Well, banana splits are sort of just an average jwk linear that have been severely overhyped by TikTok and other social media. And these are a little uncommon outside of china as huano is not a large part of the market. Besides, a fun tactile is more my speed

True, but there are cheaper jwk linears that are easier to get. The only stand out part about banana splits is the PC nylon blend they use. And I've found KTT linears both cheaper and nicer sounding
