I was really worried when I heard Hayley left. She is a tremendous talent and totally transformed the sound of the band. But this new dude can kick, and I love the direction things are heading in 🤘

Blake also drums for Egypt Central and Devour The Day. Pop Evil's bassist Joey Chicago also plays bass for Egypt Central and Devour The Day. Such a wild set of circumstances that led them to being with Leigh, Davey and Nick in Pop Evil!!!!!!!!

It better not be a case of all the highlights pushed as the promotional singles and the rest being filler, or else i'm gonna be pissed. What Remains is an incredible song, and it set my expectations for the album pretty high

I listen to some heavy stuff but Pop Evil has always resonated with their vibe in lyrics. Now they have the heavy music to go with it and it all fits so naturally. I thought metalcore was dying out but All that Remains is back to form, and Pop Evil might just be the best of the bunch now. It's been a long time since I've been excited about new music!

Can someone explain to me why, bands with INCREDIBLY TALENTED vocalists (like Pop Evil) insist on using these ridiculous sound effects/synthesizers etc? It adds NOTHING positive to the music and in fact HURTS the songs by making their voices harder to hear. I mean I could COMPLETELY understand why a band like A7X who have possibly the WORST frontman/vocalist/"singer" (in his case I use that term VERY loosely) in rock/hard rock music....but when you have ACTUAL talent like these guys do I simply cannot understand the thought process behind it. I have even seen it with one of my favorite bands of all time in Alter Bridge whom happen to have possibly the BEST/GREATEST vocalist of his generation in Myles Kennedy.... as well as Brent Smith of Shinedown although I don't listen to their newer music because they just continue to become more POPPY AND GENERIC as far as I'm concerned. Their best work is and will ALWAYS be their debut album Leave A Whisper and it's honestly NOT EVEN CLOSE....I would say The Sound Of Madness is number 2 but there's some distance between the two!
