I personally wrote off PE a couple of years ago as l saw the band play random venues in North Dakota. From 2017 through 2019 I was diagnosed with cancer and procedure with two separate Stem Cell transplants. Again and again, the thought of the band or it’s words and music never resonated for me. Fast forward into spring of 2022, I caught “Eye Of The Storm” as well as Trenches and Lions. At that point in time when I connected truly to the lyrics, it was at that point I began to truly deep look inside myself and push myself into a brand new direction. Add points in your life when you least expect it the message will come right to you. Respect anyone who raises and finds a new way. Let these lyrics take you home and start a new life.

I've had that experience with a number of bands, either thinking they were okay at best or not really paying any attention to them or whatever, but then seeing them live (usually if not always was going mainly for a different band), but ended up getting a lot more interested in them after seeing them live.
