LYRICS I know you're running from a tidal wave You can't ignore I know you're trapped inside a hurricane In the eye of the storm Of the storm Of the storm When it feels like you can't go on You're only one step away From breaking down the walls you made The walls you made and I know it's hard to move on I know it's hard to let go But you're only one step away From getting out of the eye of the storm Eye of the storm You're one step away From falling off the edge It's messing with your head It's making you forget That you're one step away From conquering the pain From overcoming darkness When fear's in the way You're only one step away From breaking down the walls you made The walls you made and I know it's hard to move on I know it's hard to let go But you're only one step away Don't let it bury you, oh I know you're running from a tidal wave You can't ignore I know you're trapped inside a hurricane In the eye of the storm But you're only one step away From breaking down the walls you made The walls you made and I know it's hard to move on I know it's hard to let go (I know it's hard to let go) I know it's hard to move on I know it's hard to let go But you're only one step away From getting out of the eye of the storm Eye of the storm Don't let it bury you

Iv had someone I loved try to destroy my life and reputation and iv had children I loved forget and hate me after me and their mom had to split because it got toxic. I can't imagine after all that time and love how it'd be to start over without those people but I pray u find the strength. Thank you so much for being strong and sharing with me
@@scottfox7642 Really sorry to hear this man, I certainly hope and pray things turn around for you going forward eventually and that's awesome you don't want to throw in the towel despite your circumstances. One thing I can say to offer some perspective is that in the same way you don't always need a classroom to be a teacher, a person doesn't need to be "religious" to know Christ as their savior in a friendship type way where you put your trust in Him and know that there's more to our existence than just this life and the trials we go through if we'll seek it out with an open heart.

I personally wrote off PE a couple of years ago as l saw the band play random venues in North Dakota. From 2017 through 2019 I was diagnosed with cancer and procedure with two separate Stem Cell transplants. Again and again, the thought of the band or it’s words and music never resonated for me. Fast forward into spring of 2022, I caught “Eye Of The Storm” as well as Trenches and Lions. At that point in time when I connected truly to the lyrics, it was at that point I began to truly deep look inside myself and push myself into a brand new direction. Add points in your life when you least expect it the message will come right to you. Respect anyone who raises and finds a new way. Let these lyrics take you home and start a new life.

Holy shit that song hits hard! No better day than today to release that song. My mom was a huge Pop Evil fan, and today is her first Heavenly Birthday.

WOwwwww Very nice. Pop Evil caught my attention years ago with Trenches. Then they seemed to transition to more mellow or acoustic sounds. Here we see and hear.. YES they still know how to ROCK!!
