I'm probably overthinking this...but man this speaks to me about the mental health issues I've fought in my life. So many times my severe depression kept telling me things like 'you're worthless' or 'everyone despises you' or 'no one will ever love you'...the voice in my head was literally a threat and almost won a few times. "I don't know how it all began...And I don't want it all to end me...The voice in my head is a threat"...it's like my biography for so many years. Now, I know that voice lies, so I won't self-harm again. I've spent a few days where I've sat in the car with this song on max and just yelled along with Leigh and felt such peace when I did it. And on a side note, the look Leigh gives at the 3:53 mark when he walks past the "glitch"...that look of 'F you, I'm done with your lies, I'm done with your crap" to me looks like I felt when I finally stood up to my demons. Leigh, Dave, Nick, Matt, and especially Hayley (shout out from one drummer to another), thank you for this song.
