I still have my Popevil Tshirt when they came to Milwaukee and played at the Rave on their Lipstick on a mirror tour. Saw them again and have an autograph pic of the lads when they performed at SummerFest. The anniversary date of my father's passing is coming soon and this song is so befitting when I reminisced about him. I picked their name back in 09 as my email account.

You guys have no idea what this song is about. It is not a broken relationship, or a broken marriage. The lead singer was performing on stage and found out his dad died. He wrote this song for his dad. That is why he says he sings "Even though I know you’re not gonna come back". Also why he sings, "Staring at the ceiling, tell me that I’m dreaming Oh, I wish you were here today All these days I know I’ll never get back All these words I know I wish I should’ve said." Every dad wants his son to be a man when they grow up and apparently he thinks he never measured up to his dad.

I guess it could be taken that way, but its actually about his dad dying. Leigh wrote it and was going to keep it just a private song, since he thought it would not be a "Pop Evil" type song. His band members changed his mind somehow and it got recorded.

Pzzadude2 That's interesting. It's funny how everyone has their own interpretation. Either way it's a great song.
@A7xloverforever610 жыл бұрын
Pzzadude2 It's so true. Leigh said "The guys were like, 'You stop being selfish, because other people can use this song for healing of their own.' And when the guys talk, they're usually right." That statement just makes me chuckle for some reason.

Torn to pieces is the way I feel when I found out my niece Michelle Elaine Lucero was brutly murdered Friday night by her boyfriend Michael Allen Sommerfield she was only 34yrs old with four daughter's that praised her with all there now broken hearts. Always loved and will never ever be forgotten!As for the animal that easily could of walked away!BELIEVE ME YOU KILLED THE WRONG PERSON. UNCLE D.

Thank you so much for your support!my pain will never go away but life has to go on and what she sadly left behind 4 daughters I'll manage and I gave my word that if anything ever happened to her that I would take care of her children and one thing about me is when I give my word it golden. I will take care of them or die trying. Thanks again for your concerns.
@danieldellinger284210 жыл бұрын
***** I will take care of myself those girls don't have a mother or father what's even sad is when she was 13 yrs of age her mother was also murdered!I have four girl's and one boy and there all grown up and have children of there own . They think I'm crazy for taking on such a task!but I told them that I gave my word and they know when I do that it's on. I've done wrong in my past then I grew up!I have support from all my brother's that will die for me and I love them for that everyone that knows me has a great deal of respect for me. And also everyone that knows me knows that I have a big big heart. And I always have taken on the impossible that most men would run from. But what made me have these qualities was my mother!God bless her soul. So this is my story and I'm sticking to it. These girls will have a good life. And I gotta tell you I'm excited to do it all over again because the joy my children gave me growing up. To all concerned thank you and God bless you for who you really are.
@danieldellinger284210 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the support from you all!I'm speaking from the heart. Just to know that there's people out there that really cares about other's misfortunes and not even knowing them you are awesome. God bless you all and think about who you really are because we are a dieing breed.

@danieldellinger284210 жыл бұрын
How are you doing patty?I really hope that people are really opening there eyes to your words of wisdom!As for me I feel that there is way too much hate in the world today . I have seen it most of my life. I was raised to the biker world!I've been a outlaw biker most of my life. Can I say I regret it hell no I'm loved by many and respected by many!are wives are kids and are brother's are are passion in life as we see it. They all love me with great respect. And as people preserve us to be we're not all like that. We respect other's no matter who they are and we will give the same back unless you try to abuse us or are families then we will tcb. Family violence is not in are ethics in life. Are passion in life is rideing loving are family and brothers cause that's the only thing that sets us free from all the rest of total hatred in the word to day we have a saying in are life that goes like this when we do right nobody see's or listens!when we do wrong nobody forgets.
