I only discovered who Jose was, when I saw that he was feeding refugees in Przemysl Poland, a small border crossing town near Ukraine. I have been there twice. I felt the connection immediately. I have supported WCK all through 2022. It is easy and I was able to direct my donations to Ukraine and Afghanistan specifically!!

He is the chef behind the nonprofit World kitchen, which recruits chefs and servers to go to places in the world that have people in need of hot meals. Hurricane-ravaged Puerto rico, ukraine, are a couple of the places he has visited. They are his daughters.

I only discovered him through Stephen's show when they were cooking on the roof during the pandemic. His gasp when Stephen stomped on those crackers ("Show food some respect!") Will forever be etched in my brain and it always gives me such joy to see him as a guest. He is such an amazing human being and he is really funny too!

Funny point, but in the end, chaos always wins, so a very chaotic family probably is unstoppable. Also, if you think not wanting to dance with your future husband is bad, my mom literally told my dad she didn't want to go out because she was doing her hair, he just shows up anyways and her family badgers her into taking out her curlers and going. They've been married for a very long time now, since I'm 38 and was the third kid, so you never really know how a relationship will end based on how it started.
