Just because a band has gained a huge fanbase worldwide over the decades does not mean they are a "commercial" band. There are some other factors... Wanna see a really commercial band selling themselves out? Go for Rammstein. They are pathetic, the music sucks ans their concerts are just unpersonal mass events. Millions of people worldwide must be right when they say "OMG, Rammstein (or as you wuold say Rumstine^^) is so frigging hard and cool and it is the most badass show you have ever seen.", right? Nope. That's what Americans and Asians say. In Europe, for example, Rammstein isn't even considered Metal. Of course there are many fans here too but they, and i apologize, are considered as a little bit, let's say, simple minded.

What the hell are you talking about. Slipknot is ran like a corporation. It's the definition of a commercial band, along with something like Metallica. Just admit you like commercialized music.
