Hello there Greg nice to see you again hope all is going well with you all. I have seen window unit in these pop up's but never a roof A/C I would think the weight would be to much bouncing down the road. But hey I'm just watching I'll go along for the ride. It's been to cold for me to work on mine here and the wind is unreal this year. Well as a good friend of mine once said Get r done lol. I'll be watching.

I have seen a few with rooftop AC but not a lot. Yep, the bouncing has got to be a killer in this case. I hope it warms up for you there soon. Thanks for hanging around.

Cool. Have you decided what materials you will use?

GB, I had an Apache Ramada pop up trailer that had an ABS Plastic roof. The side walls and slide out covers were also ABS Plastic. You can buy that in 4x8 sheets. Don't know if this would help You or not but it should be available fairly close by where You could haul it in Your pick up.

Thanks MT. I need at least 10 foot long sheets or there will be more seams. I ordered a 9.5 x 10 foot sheet of the rubber and it should not have any seams on top. That's the plan. I also considered fiberglass and ABS. There re other solutions besides aluminum. I hope this works. Thanks for the input. :)
