Hi Mark I like your videos! But unfortunately now I don’t have access to watch them. Because in my country KZbin channel is switched off. Today it happens for the first time. I see that you have published new video, I wanna watch it to improve my level of English. But I can only see comments and write some comment. I hope sometimes it will be possible to watch you videos again and to hear your incredible jokes. Know that You are the best teacher Who has helped me to make my English much better. Good luck Mark!!! 🖐🤝👍

Watched your new lesson pretty late because the whole of SG celebrated her 59th National Day today. Glad to see you out of your car. 🙂 Good lesson again. ❤ I'd call those 'beans' seed pods because they're inedible. The way you use 'pop off' is new to me. I use it in situations like 'The button popped off my shirt'.

@@MadEnglishTV yes, the plants in Canada and in Russia are similar maybe for 95%, i guess.

Siberian pea-tree. I'm shocked-I didn't know it grows in your country! On Wikipedia, it's written that people (immigrants from Europe) brought it to America, and now it's an invasive species there. It is also written that it IS edible, but the beans have a bitter taste (checkedno it personally DDD), so I have no idea how people ate it. Hey, I wonder, do you guys pick mushrooms in the forest? Do you eat them? Mushroom hunting is one of the favorite activities in eastern Europe; walking in the woods is always good for finding interesting stuff, such as rare animals and plants. Plus, something interesting always pops up while you're in the woods. I always pop by my friend and share my findings and stories with her.

That’s great! 😃 Yes, some people go mushroom hunting but I’ve never done it before.
@ЮлияЮхлю3 ай бұрын
@@MadEnglishTV Well, if you decide to go on a mushroom hunt, you won't be sorry; it is an exciting experience. But you must do it with someone who knows well what is edible and what is poisonous. Eating an unknown mushroom can cost you your life.

I would like to pop by but I can't. Every time I browse on the internet weird things pop up. It's so annoying. I wish things wouldn't pop off in the middle east.

Maybe it's good to try to understand the meaning of it but it's better we do not try to speak this way cause we surelly 'dn't use it as you do naturally on the proper moment. We can better try to speak conventional language

I don't agree with you that these phrasal verbs belong to an advanced level for English language learners who don't have enough time to learn English. Because they are an informal option for everyday speech. It's a kind of slang. Yes, they sound more friendly (pop by, swing by) and simple, but if you don't have much time, then the official language is the only option, because everyone will understand you and you won't be misunderstood or be rude

These are obviously advanced level words. These words are not uttered by learners and am glad Mark brought this up. These are mostly spoken by native speakers. Definitely not a slang.
