Brilliant. First saw James when Stutter was released at The Victoria Inn in Nottingham. Then supporting The Smith's at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall.

So I was working away, and this came on to my feed, and I listened to the intro, and thought yeah, that's gotta be classic era james, maybe mid nineties, performing some Bside. And then I heard Sometimes, and thought yeah, this is them at their peak. And then I've alt tabbed over here, and looked at the first song, and looked it up, so find it came from their 2014 album. And then I thought they must have done a radio head, and kept a bunch of songs from 1998. But nup they recorded it in 2013. Wow - that's amazing. That's right up there with best late life releases, I can recall. Well, there's probably heaps. But to still recreate - not a different kind of magic - but the SAME style of magic 20 years after their heyday. - a song that could be mistaken for one from their heyday - is truly special.
