The way ive heard it Both us in US that use patois and UK is words People from Jamaica never would use in rap... But to drake its little diffent, he grew up in Toronto and they have this called GTA -langue, so its a tribute to Jamaican People in Toronto. You can hear when he was young he spoke pretty strange...
