when I was the wee lad--back when rainbows were in black and white--me mum told me, "never be afraid to ask out the beautiful women. Most men don't have the guts and you'll be surprised". What I was surprised by was my mother--former cheerleader and jock--had not the flucking cue what she was talking about. Men born attractive have no problem hitting on beautiful women, and while each one told me (an average looking fella) they were already taken, it turned out none of them lied. they did, however, often thank me for the compliment of walking up cold to strangers to ask them out, and some became friends. they did like the guts of someone like me going way out of his league and not being the creep who just stared and stared across the room. Being in the friend zone did have some benefits, and so there's a payoff for aiming high if you can do it without your hands shaking.

There is very precious little to learn about him outside of this movie. Retired CIA operatives blabbing on any podcast they can find and hardly any stories about Gust.
