it’s actually the opposite. if you listen to live performances from there first album hayley doesn’t even sound like hayley. and in the brand new eyes era she had voice cracks every second in the live shows. i personally think that she improved a lot on self titled and after laughter. don’t get me wrong, i love every single one of paramores albums with all my heart but hayley has not gotten worse over the years at all
@thefreebees996 жыл бұрын
agree hayleys voice imo has improved a LOT since bne era, it's matured and much more controlled.
@gandalfthegrey82365 жыл бұрын
You guys are deaf, her vocal ability has DEFINITELY declined since All We Know and Riot, Brand New Eyes was meh, and anything after just terrible. Only a fool would think her voice has improved over the years when in all reality it's actually gotten a lot worse. I love her as much as the next person but at least i can admit it. That's like someone saying Amy Lee still sounds as good as she did back in 04 when you know that isn't true. The problem with Hayley is she does more jumping than singing, and so when she actually does try to sing shes too tired to be able to perform vocally. Why do you think in all of her concerts shes tired by the second song? I understand wanting to be in the moment and feel the music but there comes a time when you got to just sing the damn song and not be jumping around like a crack head. Some of her best performances were the one's where she was just singing the song and not moving around too much. Look up In The Morning/Landslide if you want proof, thats one of her best vocal performances ever in my opinion. Another good one was her performance of Last Hope in Chicago, she didn't do near as much moving around, was still into it though, but still sounded flawless. Honestly idk why neither of those two performances were on here as they are some of her best. Whoever put this video together just did it for the views, and did little to no research at all.

Did any of you haters stop to think about her vocal quality? When you belt that hard all the time it takes so much control to hit those notes with quality. Hayley is an amazing singer and an incredibly well trained vocalist to be able to accomplish these songs nightly, and saying they are garbage now is absolutely ridiculous. Not only did they get older and their style changed with maturity, but the band had to evolve for the sake of her voice I'm sure. You can even tell in this video how raspy it got with those broken note changes when she was mid-career and diagnosed with nodes. She learned to control it and it's actually one of my favorite periods in her vocal technique. Then there was the gospel-y feel to self titled with constant riffing, and now they are hitting the 80 vibe with a lot of breathy notes. Paramore may be an ever changing band genre-wise, but you have to hand it to Hayley for preserving her voice as well as she has! Can't wait to see some upcoming shows where she mixes all of these styles!
@gandalfthegrey82365 жыл бұрын
Tell that to Celine Dion. 50 years old and still sings as flawless as ever and hits ranges far greater than Hayley ever could. No disrespect intended to Hayley at all, she was an incredible vocalist at one time, key word "Was". She's still good but i wouldn't call her great anymore. She hasnt been great vocally for a long time and honestly the band as a whole has been on a downward spiral since Brand New Eyes, that was the last good true Paramore album they released. The rest were just garbage. And people don't say that to talk shit or hate, they say it because its true. Only true Paramore fans know the REAL Paramore, not the so called mainstream Paramore fans who heard the song "Aint it Fun" or "Still into You" on Sirius XM or the radio in their car and thought it was catchy, which it was, but it was still garbage compared to what they have done in the past.

Her voice was just tired. Because back in the day they were so in demand and they be having gigs left and right. I remember that Reading Festival performance so clearly. I was so psyched to see them perform, and it was everything I wished it would be. The sound system cut out during their set, so we couldn't hear anything for a few minutes. Then they gave Hayley another mic which we could hear, so they decided to sit on the edge of the stage and do The Only Exception acoustically. That's why you can see her wearing a big coat that one of the stage crew gave her. You could only just about hear Taylor's guitar through her mic. 50,000 people were singing along in unison, it was incredible. Then just in time for the last chorus, the power came back on, and the drummer started playing, and they finished the song powerfully. One of my favourite live music moments ever.
