Maneeeee i hope you come to the states and try it. I tried KFC out in NZ and it’s G (here in the states not so much). I’d personally choose Popeyes over KFC anyday, for the spice blend in the batter. Also never get anything plain at Popeyes, only Spicy. Their red beans and rice w/ the Mac always shmacks with their chicken / chicken sandwhich. Regardless, still glad you did your review. ive eaten popeyes when i visited new york back 15 years ago. the way they cooked the chicken was in a pressure fryer which makes the chicken seal in the juices. so when you bite into it, it should be almost excessively juicy. if it is not, its not true popeyes.

Tried it in Taupo, the Tenders are on but the regular chicken and the wings were average, crunchy coating which is very similar to the KFC hot and spicy batter but no alot of flavor compared to Kfry. Potato and Gravy was kind of plain, so was the mac and cheese. Id get the Tenders again with dipping sauces and the chips but thats it.
