Really appreciate this vid. I am going my first time for a quick 3 day trip, November 1-4. I would sacrifice perfection for less crowds. Intermediate + skill. Where would you recommend I focus my time?

@@aarowt6163 so if you want the best variety I would say stay somewhere between Popoyo and Santana . The main peaks will get busy but there are plenty of waves in between. If you want just beach break I would go to north Nicaragua and surf near the boom and aposentillo that time of year.

Thank you for the vid! Now I say this totally joking.. go easy on us older surfers paying 2-3 hundred a night - trust me, over my 50+ years, I've definitely put my "ground/Van sleeping" dues in! Now, these older bones want AC and some comforts haha. I will be heading out there in a few weeks with my wife and was wondering if there's any good snorkeling around those beaches that we can hit when we are not surfing? How about good trails to run? Thanks

If its small you can snorkel around mag rock just dont step on an urchin. Lots of spearfishing around Santana. You can chill on the beach anywhere really in this whole stretch there is lots of chill spots. As far as hiking going there is a coastal road that goes from Guascate to Jiquilette thats about it.
