Even if it's a "fake" channel, somebody still went out of their way to make an account and got a bot to farm content to some degree for them. Just watched the ad and…Just…Wtf? At first I was expecting them to just cut together parts where you said you liked the game, which I think is what they were trying to do, but it’s so oddly cut up and there’s even audio errors with the background music. Definitely one of the weirdest things I’ve seen on the internet in recent times. Reminds me of those more games ads you see on flash game websites now.

From what I've seen so far, I think the scammers were trying to profit off of the advertisements placed on their website, hence why you can see the "ADVERTISEMENT" header plastered everywhere. While you seem to have an adblocker installed, many ads on these sketchy websites contain those "green download button" links which can actually lead to malware infected websites, and since kinds don't know any better, they're ought to install viruses on their mom's thinkpad.

About the editing of the video in question: I think it was edited this way to somewhat "promote" Poppy Playtime, since it's basically just "haha funny huggy slap sound effect", "huggy walking towards player", "you saying "I really enjoyed it"", "mommy chasing player", "you saying "I especially really like the interactions with Mommy"". Kinda reminds me of some of those mobile ads that feature a camera of a person supposedly playing the game and telling the viewer how cool the game is.

I don't think the ad's official. In this day and age, third-parties are always eager to make a quick buck based on something viral and popular with kids due to their gullible and naive behavior. They recognize something they like and click on it without second thoughts, which gives these thieves money. And to whoever is saying that the ad is official because it has 3 million views, you're exactly the kind of person these imitators are hoping to fool. View count doesn't mean its official. Hell, those views could very well just be from bots.

The way Mr beast adds get past google/KZbin. Simple answer is MONEY. Longer answer is that, they don’t usually have to deal with many consequences for these scam ads, because they look the other way when they get a bunch of advertiser money, and all they have to do when they get called out, is to remove that specific add, while simultaneously letting 10 copies of the ad go up.
