📋 INGREDIENTS:
Dough:
170 g butter (about 3/4 cup)
100 g powdered sugar (1 cup)
2 egg yolks
300 g all-purpose flour (2 1/2 cups)
2 teaspoons of baking soda
Filling:
150 g all-purpose flour (1 1/4 cups)
2 teaspoons of baking soda
150 g powdered sugar (1 1/3 cups)
16 g vanillin sugar (4 teaspoons)
200 g ground poppy seeds (1 3/4 cups)
100 g butter (1/2 cup)
Lemon zest from 1/2 lemon
200 ml milk (3/4 cup + 2 tbsp)
2 egg whites
Powdered sugar for sprinkling
Baking pan: diameter 33 cm x 29 cm (13 inches x 11.5 inches)
Bake: 160°C (320°F) fan oven 25 minutes

Česká republika.Výborný recept.Mák mám ráda ,ale tato náplň je pro mne novinkou.Pláty těsta se dobře přenášejí pomocí válečku na těsto.Natočí se na váleček a pak se přenesou a roztočí.Mám to vyzkoušené.Zdravím kuchařku s krásnými vlasy!!!!

Die oberste Schicht bekäme ich nie so hin. Und würde mich ärgern. Stattdessen werde ich die 2. Teighaelfte zu Streuseln reiben. Das ist einfacher und sieht mit Puderzucker genauso hübsch aus.

Mir schmeckt an Mohnkuchen der Mohn am besten. Den Mohnkuchen den es heute zu kaufen gibt schmeckt scheußlich süß und lasch . Die Mohnfüllung sieht so weißlich aus als ob er bis zum erbrechen gestreckt ist. Früher war die Füllung schön dunkel und saftig. Wen man ihn gekostet hat breitete sich ein wunderbares Aroma aus

I'm new to your channel, and already this is the second poppy seed cake recipe I've seen (thank you!), but neither has raisins in the filling! I've eaten a LOT of poppy seed cakes, maybe more from polish bakeries because that's what is common where I live in Canada for european bakeries, but they almost always have raisins. I suggest trying it.
