Poppy vase life experiment, How long will my poppy last after being cut

The first of the poppy have started to crack open but they are known for having a really short vase life so today I am testing the vase life of 4 of the poppy growing in my cut flower garden including Iceland Poppy and Shirley Poppy to see how long they keep looking good after being cut.

I’m newly obsessed with with Iceland poppies! I’ve gotten five days after dunking stems in boiling water I harvest at about the stage yours were in the experiment. Have heard of a lot of problems with cracked bud stage

Those Scottish poppies are so cool

They are straight from Fraggle Rock, I love them. Don't last at all though.
