Yeah. Some not sung by Germans but produced in Germany. Maybe you must know, Germany has the 3rd biggest music market in the world behind the USA and Japan but right before the UK. ;)

Most artists were from Germany/the DACH-Region (Deutschland Austria CHwitzerland, the main German speaking countries ), among them many immigrants from the West Indies. Many prefer to sing in English like Alphaville, Modern Talking, Milli Vanilli. 8:10

Modern Talking are one of the top 20 acts in the world for physical record sales but the UK hasn’t heard of them much. The music press said they must be gay, and they said FU that’s the last time we release music here. They were the best of the 80s New Romantic / Italo Disco vibe. That's because the video attempts to cover anything German(y) pop, so: artists, production - or simply language , at which point the Austrians come in, if not one or other video actually was produced in Germany. But that's something for a rainy day to google😂

Reinhard Fendrich, Falco, Edelweiss, Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung and Andy Bord are austrians and also not produced in germany, DÖF are half austrian half german... alphaville are germans, not only produced. Milli Vanilli and Boney M have the same background figure, he is germans..... the "singers" are at the end just dancing or/and singing puppets... so at the end both "bands" are Frank Farian with some puppets in a muppet show. Frank is also singing the male part of Boney M.
