Today I am taking you to a place I wanted to go for MONTHS, its an all Vegetarian restaurant ! It has SO MANY dishes to try and today we did a street food style video, let me know in the comments below if you had any of these dishes!! Check this place out

U perfectly nailed the eating with hand method..that is the correct way to eat Indian food ❤...Vada pav, pav bhaji and tawa pulao are famous in mumbai...while all the chaats like panipuri dahipuri ragdapuri tikki etc are famous throughout west and north india but now available throughout India

Oh yes...the pav looked very close to what you get in Bombay! and the best chutney with the vada pav is that dry garlic powder chutney! Most of the street food you had here is part of Bombay folklore and that city is still the best when it comes to street food on the go! Most of the street food was created for the millworkers and other labour class folk and hence was innovative, packed a punch and was just easy to eat quickly without making too much of a mess or needing a lot of packaging!

You know what, i really liked your video. Everyone take the challenge trying Indian food but you know why your's was the best because you ate respecting how indians eat. OMG Jessica, you have a good sense of identifying flavours! The real name of that pulav is Tawa pulav. Tawa means pan and since this pulav is made on a pan, it's called Tawa pulav. And as you recognized it right, pav bhaji spice powder is the main ingredient in this pulav. Vada pav, pav bhaji, tawa pulav and dahi puri have all originated in Bombay or Mumbai. Vada Pav , pav Bhajji are popular street food of Mumbai. They were specially prepared for mill workers. They are tasty and can be had any time during the day. Dahi puri is also extremely popular. Sweet tamarind chutney with sprouts is healthy too.

Vadapaav and Paav Bhaji originated in Mumbai.... Paav bhaji was initially made for mill workers and now it's a famous delicacy 😎 Initially there was only Vada (Pattie used in vadapaav) and then they added paav ( Mumbai bread) and we have quick but filling snack called Vada-Paav ❤️❤️

The first dish you had was the signature dish of Mumbai(Maharashtra) also it has lot of varieties too,, the one you had was classic... You can find lots of varieties in Vada Paav in India

In Pav Bhaji, I add onions in Bhaji with dash of lemon. Mix it with spoon and eat it with Pav. Raw cut onions gives a crunchy effect on erstwhile paste consistency bhaji. In Vada Pav, we add wet chutney and red garlic powder dry chutney inside Pav as per individual liking. If some fried crunches of cheakpea batter is added in Vada Pav then it gives extra crunch & texture. I am Vegetarian and we eat so many different Veg. dishes that you have not eaten.

You tried the classic street foods from the city of Mumbai where I am from! Vada Pav is like the lifeline and it is sold in every nook & corner. (The spice u loved was a dry garlic & peanut chutney). The Tawa Pulao is actually made with the masala base of Pav Bhaji gravy so was happy when you said that! In pav bhaji you can mix the chopped onion directly with the baji don't worry the crunchy texture is not lost. Since you mentioned bamboo 😅 i thought you should now try out some North eastern food of India I myself am from western India, but recommend you trying NE food of India. I see you tried Northern Western and Southern foods
