So after India we needed to get back to Miami, and the cheapest way to get back was to stop in Rome Italy! So here is our flight and stay tuned for our Rome Series :)

you should probably visit kerala (keralam) also known as "gods own country". southern part of india, it has amazing back waters and all sorta stuff, just like venice but in a more countryside way, and later you should probably visit bangalore, mysore and telangana andhra and tamil nadu ,goa etc all the southern parts also have great foods by the way especially hyderabadi biryani u should definitely try it

Gulf Air is a good airline. They had financial difficulties last decade or so which is why not everything is great. now they are replacing old planes with new ones. Which one you get depends on your route - currently new ones are mostly deployed on Europe and US routes which is why you got a better one on your trip to Rome. Old ones are mostly deployed on Asian and Eastern European routes I believe.

You may not get butter with a middle eastern menu. That's a western thing. You always mostly get a dates filling with Arabic food. Dates are used in many ways in middle eastern food. They are healthy fruit. Different cultures make curry differently right around the world. India is unique in its spices. Authentic Italian food is not weird, it is prepared differently from the American version of Italian food. Chinese foof in America is very different from the one Chinese people eat in China.

I have travelled through Qatar and Emirates. Both are good . Not too impressed with Gulf Air. I like the spontaneity of Alfonso and genuineness of yours. But airline food is rarely good

It's unsurprising you were disappointed om the flight with the mediocre tasting food served - It's usually served less spicy and more bland to cater to universal tastes and passengers. You have however tasted most of everything in Indian cuisine so you can easily recognize by your taste buds - you're already an "Indian food expert" in many ways with your experience.
