Suggestions as it is in my house now. 1. No phones before ssce examination. 2. The foreign travel in group was not necessary at that age, knowing that child monitoring will be deficient. 3. This mentality of "my child must belong" is the killer of society. In view of the present situation, I think the mother of the small can go on to court for the school's inability to handle her daughter's case well because it was very simple at the beginning. This is a very disheartening story. I saw the video and immediately deleted it because it was shocking and as a mother , I wasn't going to be party in disseminating such a video. If u watched that video, one thing that was clear was that this young girl was very alert and was enjoying the act. She smiled most of the time and was talking to the boys. I doubt it was her first time. The theory of drugs being given to her is a feeble attempt at excusing her participation. Subsequently, I saw lots of posts making the rounds on social media as people had uncovered a social media account called Likee in which she had about 526 videos, a lot of them erotic!! This is a 10 year old child who obviously has an internet-enabled device , unfettered access to the internet and unfortunately no parental supervision. I also saw shocking pictures of this child. In one she wore a crop top, waist beads, make-up and struck a seductive adult pose. Without question, this child has unfortunately been allowed to explore a world way beyond her years with no supervision. Looking at her mother, I feel sorry because she's obviously not a very young woman so may have handled her with kids gloves. It's solely a parental problem. The problem with Christland school is that they wrongfully panicked, were more concerned about the image of their school than the children involved , probably on investigating, found some lapses with the supervision of these children by their chaperons and tried hushing the matter not realising it was a hydra-headed monster that would consume them. Pity but parents, mothers especially, this should be a wake-up call to every one of us about how we raise these children that God has given to us. But madam, should stop playing the victim, everything out there shows you've done a poor job in raising this beautiful child. It's not too late ma.

People need to be reminded that there’s no handbook to parenting and parenting this new generation of children is scary. It’s easy to point fingers at the parents when you’re not in the situation. This just seems to me like too much freedom, too much access and the inevitable desire of children to “explore”. The child that should be punished is the one that recorded and posted the video (unless truly drugs and coercion were involved). Hopefully, all the children involved walk away from this as better people. I hope the parents and the school realise that therapy , conversations and perhaps sexual education are things that this new gen need early access to. The school has completely failed on safeguarding the children left in their care. They also handled it very poorly. Smh. Parents should have been involved at every step of dealing with this. Seriously speaking, what more could have the parents done. They have been purposely kept in the dark throughout the whole ordeal. Let's not forget, the child was threatened not to tell anyone during this whole thing. That can really scare victims from speaking up for a long time. What happened to the other persons involved? This is unbelievable!! Who recorded it? Who gave them the concoction to drink? Nowhere is safe.

The mother said the daughter told her she was given drugs and then told to start climbing on top of the boys and they were taking videos and posting it.
