I'm staying away from .999 coins right now, unless they're something special. I can get foreign junk at melt, rounds for $2 over, and US 90% for 23x. That's why I also don't order online: crazy premiums.

If you can get to an LCS than absolutely the best way to go. My LCS is sadly 40 - 50 minutes away so I don't make it out there often. Hell the Gas and Tolls I'd spend justifies online haha

@@floridastacker I get that, I go to a coin store in Spring Hill and it’s 2 hours for me, I have a group of like 5 friends and we save up for a month or two and go out, we pitch in ten bucks for gas and we each save about 100-300 vs online depending how much we spend

The base of my stack is a single 1000 oz. bar. After that 100 oz and 10 oz bars. Mind you I purchased the big bar eons ago around $7/oz. Stack metals for the long term. And always watch the premiums which are crazy right now. At the end of the day you are buying silver. A single older round contains just as much silver as an ASE.

I almost-almost--pulled the trigger on starting a second tube of the 2021 Type I ASEs. I thought it would be a stressful case of beat the clock 🕰🥵 trying to complete it before the Type 2s crashed the party this summer. @Florida Stacker Just started my 90% silver quarter tube. Lol I am at 12. Long way to go to hit that 40. Basically $25 for four quarters that have 6.25 grams of silver per coin. Do you think it is a better buy to do the 90% silver versus the 1g Combi bars? Combi premium is so high but neat looking silver none the less. Anyways full view and thumbs up brother.

Yeah I asked the community a couple weeks back about other online options to avoid the $199 minimum. $199 is a little rich for my budget of weekly purchases. Online I like JM Bullion, SD Bullion, Monument Metals, Texas Precious Metals and Hero Bullion. I use some others like Liberty Coin but mostly for Gold. In the Greater Orlando area there are a few shops if you want to drive south. I'd recommend All American Gold and Silver in Apopka, FL. Call in advance to check on inventory.

They still have them, we just don't get the 1% on everything. They have 5% that they give periodically. This started at the beginning of April. I didn't get any promotions the first month but now they just sent me my second 5% offer.

I bought a tube of both types. But I'm done with ASE's - probably for good. Switching to Britannias now - better value. I am picking up some good 90% Silver Constitutional. With Canadian I'm a huge fan of their "Special editions". Love the twin Maple and after the repro 67 Flying goose issued last year in a 2Toz. All those who won't buy the Queen on the reverse need to wash the sand out of their vaginas. The Royal Mint, RCM and Perth and Royal Aussie mints are producing the most innovative coins around. Chucking the Teddy out of the carry cot over Her Maj basically means that you are sh1t canning a numismatic upside (with the Exception of the Libertad), paying a biblical premium (with the Exception of the Kruggerand) and quite frankly leaving you more vulnerable to getting a product as likely to be made by a guy in Guangzhou as Philadelphia or West Point.
