Maybe you just have to accept how they pronounce it 😂 Being called NATAAN is okay, it sounds the same as taan (to eat) in Thai.

So.. do Isan couples call each other ข่อย​ เจ้า Also can a guy call itself ฉัน​ when speaking with girlfriend? I heard it's normal between brother and sister. But what about couples will it sound weird?

My friends wife gave me the name Sayan, because my name is Jan (pronounced Yan). Not a good name to explain in thai... ยาน... funny, but maybe ญาณ better... But my x-wife didn't like it because of the "funny" actor Sayan.. I can understand that :-) But i told her he's not the only one with that name, what about Sayan Sanya?! She called her husband "prá jan" sometimes because he have little hair. If you read my name in thaiglish... it's moon too :-) So, we were evening and moon... or moon and moon :-) Me and my partner now, call each other ที่รัก:-) I wish i had thai keyboard... now I have to copy paste to write. I'm not good yet, but I'm getting there:-) Maybe I want some private lessons later, but I'm a little short of money at the time. Covid 19 destroys everything! Thanks for good teaching!
