That's an interesting Uke. Does that amp input double as a strap button? Any plan for them to make a tenor model?

All of the previous models have been concert size (23 inches) so I’m not sure if a tenor will ever be in the works but I can ask!

Hi how you doing I was wondering if you have any tips for a learner struggling to hit a d chord on a concert ukelele

Having your fingers together so close will be weird for a while. An easy D7 might be a substitution for a bit (1020) rather than a D (1230). Also make sure to support your position with your thumb behind the 1/2 fret and have space between your palm and the fretboard.

Hi! Would you recommend this ukelele (with the leds lighting up as a guide) for kids starting with ukelele? Or is it better to just do it the offline way? Thanks a lot! Greetings from Belgium!

I think this would be good for anyone who is first starting out and felt that they need the extra guide. I use it a lot offline at school cause if the effects and because it’s easy to clean. The important thing would be to remember to eventually move off of the LED cause it doesn’t promote good posture overtime.

Surprisingly cheap. I agree about not being able to tell the reverb is activated. The chorus/delay sounds just like delay mostly. You can always add an effect pedal in from the output jack, but you may as well go with an electro-acoustic uke if you’re doing that. Still cool though.

Yes. That is what I found too. I got a lot more control when using an amp or an interface.

It’s a good deal for now, but the price does go up after the early bird ends. The app connectivity also adds value that other comparable ukes lack, but that really only helps for beginners.

After your review, will they add back the fret marks? Is the white body easily get dirty and what is your suggestion on choosing between the Pro and non-pro version? Great review, thanks!!!

As far as the differences between the pro and the 2, I’m not sure as my only experience is with the pro. For the fret markers, I brought this up and was told that there are fret markers, but I was unable to see or locate them. The LED does show fret markers on the front when in a stand by mode when using the app, but otherwise do not appear (at least from what I have experienced).

@@CoryTeachesMusic As a beginner, I am wondering how frequent will I use the preamplifier(Pro version), and it is strange that it need 2 different power source. Just found that it is from the brand Xiaomi and it is available from many online shops not only Indeegogo!

@@lyk102 I think even as a beginner it is still a cool feature, especially since you will probably using it for a lot of self playing. So if it seems like something that YOU would find cool or brings YOU joy, then I'd go for it! If that isn't something that is important to you, I'd go with the version that doesn't have that. 😊

@@lyk102 once you learn to play you probably don't need the lights so could go without the AAA batteries. I agree that fret markers are a must and purchase some ahead of time because others had mentioned that they were missing.

I actually use it more without the app than with but for a beginner player I think the app can be incredibly helpful!
