Hello, you can do the teeth whitening before placing the porcelain veneers, but it is not really recommended as it will only delay the procedure, as after the whitening, you have to wait for about 2 weeks to cement the veneers. And the veneer goes over the tooth, so the color of the tooth won't be visible.

You can get another proccedure called "fillers" where they sand your teeth ever so slightly and then they fill it with a natural shade. The best part is that it makes she texture and dark yellow color go away. Hope this helps!!

It’s taken me a long time to save. I’m getting my put on next week. I will say that the prepping is the worst part. And also having temporary ones on are not nice. If you want something done immediately you can get cosmetic bonding done? I think it’s about $100 per tooth as apposed to $2000 per tooth lol

@@heleh9889 With my veneers I got a natural colour. I got B1 which is white but it still has a tiny undertone of yellow. They look extremely natural and nice too. I got zirconia so they are made thinner and they are stronger. I think if your gonna do veneers you need to go somewhere extremely experienced and you will get natural looking smile. Those ones in turkey looks horrible!

Would this cause your teeth to decay and break down faster since you are not able to clean them? Having a covering, I would think bacteria can still get between and weaken the tooth enamel. Or even the adhesive, does it cause premature wearing of the enamel?

However, in some cases, is possible to do the smile design even if the patient does´t have a complete straigth smile but the bite is correct. I like that the teeth aren't perfectly straight. Except for how blindingly white they are, they could pass for natural. So many people with veneers looked botched because their teeth look unnaturally straight. Hello, teeth shaving is no necesary when doing a smile design. For porcelain veneers we do a micropreparation, a procedure where we make a very thin line (we use a microscope for it) between the teeth and the gum to ensure the correct positioning of the veneers. If this isn´t done, the veneers won´t be completly placed over the tooth leaving a space where food and bacteria will stay and that can lead to cavities and damage of the natural teeth. A micropreparation won´t change or damage the natural teeth. It´s not a shaving
