This man does not speaks in hate. He speaks knowledge we should know. My dad he is now past, grew up in the 40s and 50s. He would tell me the worst thing that happened to black kids was the end of segregation. Now white people who were from our hometown, respected my father and family. He just felt that our kids learned better under our own people. From knowledge to the homemade meals given to the students. I'm far from racist but now that I'm a. Teacher and older I see what he was saying.

Hey David. I’m a 37 year old white guy. I don’t know what to do to help, but I figure teaching my kids the truth, is the best thing I can do for the world. What I’ve been doing is making sure my kids know systemic racism exists, and I taught them about white privilege, how it exists.. even when we don’t use it. I’ve taught them not to say, “color don’t exist, I’m color blind” because that just passes the buck.

Brother Banner, you have dynamic platform with your " porch talk". I pray that one day our people will tune in and tune up, Bro. We've been in this burning house for far too long. I'm an older Brother and I understand the need to heal and the need to stand up in our community. Sacrifice is what people are afraid of. Some folks will never get it. We must stop giving so much attention to issues that are not important to our rise. We must do better. We must reach out with our hands and with our minds. Some will get it and some will not. Keep doing your thing Brother 👑.

Buy land, farm it, extract wealth from it and give it to your children. Control the food, control the nation.
@bach5780
@bach5780 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah because buying land is so easy. Do you realize in the Midwest, to be a profitable farmer, you own and farm at least 1500 acres? And that’s on the small side. At a low point, land is $10,000 an acre. Do the math. What are you gonna grow a damn garden? Fuckin look at the sheer mass of the land and equipment used to farm. Extract the wealth? Some years farmers lose money. That’s why you gotta be big to be able to take hits once in awhile. You think farmers control the food? The crops and livestock get sold and distributed all over the world. Farmers have no say where is goes. What are you going to do with the crops you don’t “give” away?

Hello brother, I listen to you quite often and I'm in the hospital but that's NOT here nor there / I TOTALLY agree with you about cussing. Story A yr ago when I 1st gotten my electric wheelchair - the Facility I'm in had a dinner with the owner and he and I were stuck in an elevator together. He asked me "How do I like my stay/care here?" & I responded "I don't like it because NO ONE listens here." We hatched a plan to put what I'd told him to a test. Low and behold the Facility Director was our test subject. We made it out the elevator- he went one way and I went another both of us ending in the same place 10 minutes apart. Upon entering the room where the dinner was underway the FD saw that I had a mugg on my face and came towards me. We exchanged pleasantries me beginning "Hello" she then speaks "Hi Ms Greene-SMILE / How are you feeling" . I cracked a bullshit smile, said "my knee was hurting like SHIT and asked her could she give me 2 regular strength Tylenol PLEASE." She walked away from me so of course I made a scene. I followed her to where the owner was and me & him blocked her from leaving then i asked her "Why'd she walk away from me?" She asked me "Why'd I cuss?" I said real LOUD "I answered ya question, asked for ya help and said PLEASE but all you heard was the cuss word?" SHE LOST HER JOB THAT DAY & the owner APOLOGIZED to me and announced to EVERYONE hearing someone talking & listening to someone talking are NOT the same...

David Banner you have always been a deep-thinker. I selfishly wish we could seriously chop it up now that COVID has brought this world to a screeching halt but we have rules to conversations... 6 feet boundaries, mask-up and no public meetings, etc., etc. However, with that being said... I do enjoy "porch talk" because privacy is now history.

we gotta work on self accountability. No one MAKES our women wear weave NOR does anyone MAKE us drink alcohol, eat crazy amounts of sugar, crazy amounts of salt etc etc These are choices. Time to call out everyone that is not for the good!
@moniqueyoung5671
@moniqueyoung5671 3 жыл бұрын
When you are part of a society that tells black women that they have to wear their hair a certain way to work and go to school, you are telling her that she has to either perm her hair or wear a weave. The weave is mostly chosen as the safest way to not damage the real hair like a perm or heat. When you take away all the jobs and opportunities, and instead of bringing in help you open a liquor store on every corner and bring drugs into a community of suffering people, you are making them use drugs just to get by. When you have no real grocery store within miles of a neighborhood, but a fast food joint on every corner, and when you charge more money for healthy food than you do for unhealthy food, you are forcing poor people to eat crazy amounts of sugar and salt because all the food you offer that they can afford is full of it. While self-accountability is most definitely necessary, it is not as easy as just victim-blaming. Systematic racism works that way. They are playing chess, so they are planning things out decades in advance to make it look like people are just making bad decisions on their own and the invisible hand pushing them to the decisions are not seen.
@belladeive5350
@belladeive5350 3 жыл бұрын
@@moniqueyoung5671 society doesn't tell you shit. Jobs have the right to enforce dress codes and ensure that your appearance doesn't jeopardize their company name. Jobs are eliminated due to the higher taxes they are forced to pay due to the democratic leaders that your community elects. If there's no grocery store nearby, plan accordingly and drive to one, or take a bus, or ask for a ride. How do you think rural areas in the Midwest get groceries? If they're playing chess, then put them in check. The system is rigged against everybody. It isn't about race. It's poor vs the rich. It always has been. The rich use race to stay rich. When you learn to play the game and start providing for yourself and start coming up, they can't touch you. The most dangerous person in this country is an independent educated person who can play the game. And once you've mastered the game, you teach others what to do so they can come up. You can absolutely take the route to have the game changed, personally, I'd rather just beat them following their rules cause then you're stronger than anything they have in their arsenal...

David Banner is one of the many public figures who helped me actualize my place in the world and manifest self-respect in my life. After a few years of absorbing this knowledge I made the initiative to get sober and accept Islam in Fall of 2019. Being sober I feel I understand this content even better and am a better representative of this knowledge when I am in the position to speak on it. As a mixed person, I'm grateful for David Banner and others for having the courage and wisdom to speak truth and raise our awareness of both ourselves and our surroundings. Continuing on this path of self-actualization I'm down 25lbs and seven days strong since my last cigarette. I hope to make myself the best representative of this knowledge as I can be, and I have individuals such as David Banner to thank for kicking my ass into gear.
