Pure entitlement. Beyoncé has the most Grammy Awards of all time-even legends like Michael Jackson never got close. Jay-Z himself has 24, ranked at #7. You both have made history, take it with grace. Together you've won 56 GRAMMYS!!!! If you want to win every category for certain, just buy the damn academy. And stop embarrassing your wife in front of others; she is clearly very uncomfortable. I daresay Jay-Z cares more about Beyoncé's marketability than her comfort, let alone artistry....

That is TERRIBLE advice in this instance. You are not showing up for your talents to be recognized. This show is a business, not a meritocracy. You showing up merely gives you more opportunities for the academy to see some value in giving you a platform by which they will benefit heavily from. This award isn’t earned, it’s given.

There are many singers, songwriters, rappers etc that has been robbed due to the poor decisions based on the grammys/chairmans etc. He spoke up for his wife and many others as he should.
