I was lucky enough to be at that show. It absolutely killed. They released it live on CD and video. I had bad seats, but it was one of the better shows I had seen.

8:35 a lot of those crazy little things Gavin does on the drums are improvised. He often talks about how impatient he gets playing same fills every night. Super creative guy- it's always fun listening to different live recordings to hear how he changes things.

Saw them the night before they filmed these (I believe it was 2) gigs for the DVD, honestly...It's maybe the best concert I've ever seen. Coming off Deadwing, which is still an amazing record, they were absolutely on top of their game this tour. John Wesley was always a welcomed addition to the live shows too. I'll never forget that show, & another on the previous tour in a much smaller venue where the lights went out halfway through the set. Talk about an intimate setting, I could've reached out & touched Steven that night. Unforgettable times. I love your all's energy listening to songs that mean so much to me. You guys are awesome! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

You should listen to the studio version of this track. One of the very few times I'd say it's better than the live with them. The part starting at 4:20 on the studio version is one of my favorite passages of music ever recorded. In the studio version it just has a build to it where it keeps adding layers that just doesn't come through in this live version. If you can listen to it on the 5.1 surround mix, you will be absolutely blown away.

One other suggestion: "Free" by a band called OSI. Steven Wilson is involved with them and Gavin Harrison - the incomparable ex-Porcupine Tree drummer (now on tour with King Crimson) - plays with them as well. Not many people know about OSI, but they're kinda like Tool. But listen to "Free". Again, you won't regret it.
