This is amazing, never heard Joe Hen and Roy together before. RIP to the GOAT Roy Haynes ❤️

George, during the solo Roy Haynes displayed the most unbelievable facility on that bass drum pedal! He wasn't even using heel toe, just an incredible subtle spasm of steady 16th notes incredibly fast and slowly built it up dynamically to an incredible Crescendo on the kit. Unless you tried to do something like that with your right foot, you will never know how difficult that actually is. Needless to say his right foot could rival Bonham or Buddy. Some serious inspiration going on here and thanks for this great post! Just got schooled here time to go back to the woodshed lol

I would love to hear a version of this concert with the annoying voice over the music. Who thought that was a good idea??? Especially with these legends playing their asses off. Still, thanks for posting.

At this point why are people posting KZbin videos or the mix is so ancient? Just run it through an EQ and maybe a little compression and then post it.
