When it comes to pork belly, you do an A-plus job brother!! Also, with the BBQ mix, you could use that as a gravy for rice if you want. Even though it's not as thick, it could be a game changer. Again, great job!!

Hey T-Roy. Hey T-Roy, have you ever used two neodymium magnets on each upper corner of the Weber smokey mountain door? It seems to seal it pretty good, a low budget fix for the leakiness of the door it comes with. You can get neodymium magnets formed with handles on them or use the kinds with hooks on them that people put on refrigerators so you can easily remove them.

That looks so good. I just got my WSM 22, I'm working on smoking bigger meats. I'm great on steaks, chops, salmon you know, the thin stuff. I want to get better with Pork Butts and Beef Shoulders. They are coming out rare to med-rare. I guess with bigger smokes, I'm going to start using a meat probe that doesn't stay in the meat for the whole time. I'm getting better every time I use it. (With staying at home I smoke like twice a week) Have a good one.

Great Looking product, I havnt seen pork belly where I shop but Im going to have to look for some. What does porkbelly run a pound. Have you ever considered a whole beef shank, it be for pulled beef. I seen another channel cook 30 ponder it looked fantastic and what I liked he claims cheaper than Brisket. Did you use water in water pan on this cook.
@t-reyh59372 жыл бұрын
Hey T-roy, this is T-rey lol. Make brisket burnt ends a few times, never pork belly. Wife picked up a slab of pork belly, haven't looked at it yet, hope she got a meaty one. Have a pineapple habanero glaze that many put on cream cheese for crackers and such. Think that will work out fine, it's an awsome glaze for pork ribs, should be good on the pork belly as well. Hope mine come out as good as yours look. CHEERS!!!
