Recipe for: Pork Jolan with Beer and Baked Potatoes. The meat becomes juicy and tender. It melts in your mouth!
Necessary products:
1 kg. boneless pork shank
1 kg. fresh potatoes, washed and cleaned
50 g of cow butter
A few sprigs of rosemary
10 cloves of garlic
500 ml. beer
Salt
Pepper
Paprika
Oil
Method of preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees without fan.
In a pan with oil, sear the shank on all sides until golden.
Transfer the shank to a baking sheet.
Add the potatoes, garlic and rosemary. Season with salt, black pepper and red pepper.
Drizzle with a little oil and rub all the spices in well.
Add the beer and 100-200 ml. water.
Spread the lumps of butter on top.
Cover the pan with aluminum foil.
Bake for 2 hours in the lower part of the oven.
After 2 hours, remove the foil and return the pan to the oven for another 20-30 minutes until the dish is baked.
Serve warm and enjoy!
