@@goingnowhere425 I got this installed last week and love it. I’ve always loved the 997s for how they drove and the feel for the road and with this new head unit, it really brings the interior looks and functionality much closer to that of the newer models.

@@goingnowhere425 just finished 2 hours total start to finish works great, looks great & sounds great with the Bose. This PCCM plus and the DSC suspension controller are 2 must have well work it upgrades 3rd would be exhaust imo. Cheers

@@diogomendonca903 Yes you have to connect to a USB cable. I purchased this from amazon however, to add wireless carplay: a.co/d/fydTwBv And yes! pccm+ will support android auto!

Does your car have Bose option? If so does the new PCCM+ sound as good as original stereo? Is the gauge audio info displayed with the new PCCM? Is it bright enough for a convertible?

Yes, I do have the Bose sound system, and can confirm it sounds absolutely fantastic. The audio info does show in the gauge. I believe navigation directions are there also. But i typically leave it on fuel range. Def. bright enough for outdoors.

Thanks for the video. Has anyone experience with installing a rear view camera on the PCCM? We don’t get it detected by the PCCM. Any help?

Someone had a walkthrough on the Rennlist: rennlist.com/forums/ I believe it required some additional hardware, but I haven't invested to look into it that much. I'll end up buying a mirror backup on amazon most likely.

You can pretty much order it from any Porsche parts department. They all cost around the same. 997.1 only however. Will not work on 997.2

I did! It ended up being pretty super easy and straight forward. With the included harness, it's truly plug and play. Took me about an hour, and half of that time, was just because I didn't have the proper tools to take out the older radio .
