Thankyou for setting such a good example of making the extra effort to make everything better, not just the part you are focused on. Love that car lift too. I have an 86 red coupe that came from texas to the west coast of Canada, on a small island called Quadra, and it lived down a gravel road. I just love your videos. I could watch these all day long. Hopefully one day I'll have 5% of your skills. I have a 87 Targa that has seen much better days...
@GreasyFingers3 жыл бұрын
Many thanks, Neil. An 87 Targa is a great car. I’ve only just restored a Targa roof for a friend and seeing his car in my workshop from time to time has rectified my miss-belief that Targa’s only work with the small body. And you have the G50 which is awesome. What colour is yours?
@neilthaxter98003 жыл бұрын
@@GreasyFingers It does indeed have the G50. It's currently badly painted in Guards Red, the original colour is Cassis Red Metallic (80D) which I plan on returning it to when I eventually get to that point. I was very unsure about this colour, but it has really grown on me. Very retro 80s feel. It needs quite a bit of work before paint though. Outer sills, kidney bowls and door jams are the biggest issues. Plus some minor work around the inner/outer front wings. That I know of so far! 😬
