Thanks having owned a 997.2 Carrera Coupe Manual and now a 997.2 Carrera S Cab PDK, I completely agree with your review. The coupe lines are nicer, but who cares when the sun is shining and you get the full open air experience. Interestingly I have also owned a 991.2, a 991.2 and a 992.1 and can absolutely say the quality of the 997.2 is the best built modern 911.

Thanks for a video. As a U.S. resident I throughly enjoy my ‘09 manual 3.6 and quite possibly more so than my recently acquired manual 992 T that I ordered late summer 2023. The 992 is certainly more civilized for daily use.

Thanks Raj. I have not long had my C4S cabriolet. Is the key fob supposed to open the engine cover or is the button just for opening/closing the roof, also where would I get the upgrade to the radio, is there a link to to who supplies them and who might fit? Thanks again always enjoy your honest approach and videos.

The 3rd button on the key is just for the hood open/close, not the engine cover, that is only opened via the button in the drivers sill. The radio can be upgraded with Apple/Android connectivity using the NM Automotive system, most porsche specialists or car audio specialists should be able to fit this for you. Does A1 Solid Black 997 exist? I swear it is the rarest colour for a 997. Everything black with this gen is Basalt, not Solid black.

A very rare colour, I've had 2 Porsche in stock in this solid black, kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3akmquJoc1jedU and kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKq0oaV_bs2fbtU A very tricky colour to keep unmarked, even a clean microfibre will mark it! Raj
