Nice aftermarket exhaust, I´ve seen another video with them and sounds deep but not too loud, I like it. Charlie, I´m after a 997.2 S and I am Kinda like you, most of the jobs of the car I DIY them... Could you explain me if the C4S it´s more tricky or complicated than the C2S? Maybe in terms of suspension, transmission... Is there anything special to know about ? TIA

The C2 and C4 are almost identical mechanically. In the 996, you can actually remove the cardan shaft, front differential and front drive shafts and front axles and drive it around as a C2. The only difference in the transmission/transaxle itself is that there is an output on the end that delivers power to the front diff. It functions just like a C2 if nothing is hooked up to it. You'll have to verify if that is the case in the 997, but I believe it is (check out rennlist if you haven't already, there is a ton of useful info there). With a C4 you have 2 extra sets of CV boots and joints up front that require maintenance, but other than that the system doesn't take much to keep it going.

Nope. Stock 3.6 flat 6 engine from Porsche with a partial muffler bypass.
