Hey man. I have a Chauvet hurricane 1200. Just tried to use it for the first time in 6 months and it’s not working. It heats up but it doesn’t seem to get as hot as it should be. When the led indicator says it’s ready to produce fog, I press the button and there’s no motor noise at all. I don’t think it’s the fuse but I could be wrong. What do you think?

I just ordered a pair of these for my 01 996. Thanks for the great video. I've thought the 2 things I'd change on my 996 were the sound of the exhaust and the head unit stereo.
@charlieaf92Ай бұрын
You're going to love them. You may decide not to bother with the head unit because you'll like listening to the exhaust so much.

Trying my luck here with different problem. I have a 4 year old Sole E95S that I bought second hand. I find the resistance to be too high on the lowest setting. I tried making the cable longer by adjusting the long nut on the black cable. But this didn't make much difference. Do you have an idea what's causing this? Is something else cause resistance? Every part moves fluently...
@charlieaf92Ай бұрын
I'm guessing its the same problem I had. The cable jumping off the little wheel. After it jumps off, it isn't immediately obvious that it happened because it winds around the other way and looks normal. The resistance is achieved by putting a magnet closer to the flywheel. When you decrease resistance the servo should rotate the little wheel and wind the cable up, pulling the magnet away from the flywheel and lowering the resistance.
@jonasgeiregat3800Ай бұрын
@@charlieaf92 It didn't jump off. I watched your video closely and it seems to function correct. On highest resistance, there's slack on the tension cable and I can pull it backwards. On lowest resistance the tension cable is really tight and I can't pull it. On my old elliptical I can move the pedals without using my arms. On this one I almost can't? Is this normal? Is it an electromagnet that's creating the resistance? Maybe it got repositioned whilst transporting?
@charlieaf92Ай бұрын
@@jonasgeiregat3800 Understood. It's been ages since I even owned this machine and had it apart so I'm afraid I won't be of much help. If you've gotten to the cable then you should have it far enough apart to trace the cable to the brake/magnet and see where it is. Make sure when the resistance is being adjusted that it's moving properly. I'd say what you're experiencing is not normal. When the unit is on low resistance it should move very freely and smoothly.
@jonasgeiregat3800Ай бұрын
@@charlieaf92 Thanks for the quick responses. I'll investigate the eddy wheel. Maybe one magnet is not retracting. I'll let you know if I figure it out.

@@charlieaf92 I was able to resolve the issue. The flywheel has 2 sets of magnets. One of the sets was always breaking. I had to remove the flywheel to get to the part that got loose. Your video gave me the necessary insight to fix my issue. Thanks!

So what microwave do you own now?
@charlieaf92Ай бұрын
I think I ended up going with a Sharp but we moved shortly after so I can't say whether or not it lasted. One AMAZING feature that the sharp had is the ability to turn off the chime. I cannot stand how microwaves beep with every button press and the feature to turn that off was fantastic. Our new place has a Jenn Air microwave that has stood the test of time, but it has no way to disable the annoying beeping.

Hard to say for sure but since there are two different solenoids for ice and water dispenser it could be that the water one is failing.

This was very helpful. I have the Peloton Tread (not the plus) and the wires got nipped when reassembling after moving. We know which wires to replace but unsure of how to feed them through the u-rail. Will the U-rail completely disassemble enough to feed the wires up to the monitor?

Sorry I can't say for sure. However if you have access to one of the snipped wires you may be able to use some electrical tape to attach the new wire to it and pull it through.

Would this be the same for a 997.1? My driver seat heat does not work.
@charlieaf925 ай бұрын
It certainly could be. I'd start by checking the fuse - since that's the easiest thing to check. Then, possibly the switch. If those check out OK my bet would be it is the element in the seat itself.

This video is so informative. I’m on the fence about buying a used treadmill because it will need a new tread. Some how the person who owns it put a huge hole in it. If peloton is not helpful with purchasing supplies how would I go about getting a new tread to replace it. Any suggestions

I've found the Peloton parts department to be very helpful. If you call and ask to speak to parts you have a better chance to getting someone on the phone that can answer technical questions + give you information about replacement slats.

Genius, thank you! For now I went for the easy fix, shoved resistance up to max and now its in the easiest zone and usable again 😊 Could I just keep this inverted resistance approach as a permanent fix?
@charlieaf926 ай бұрын
:) If it works for you, I don't see why not! It's been a long time since I had the machine apart but, if I remember correctly, once the cable slips off there isn't enough movement to give you the full range of resistance. But, if it's working for you I don't see any harm in continuing to use it that way.

An iguana got caught in the front part of the tread belt within inner part of the tread. How do you get access into the front inner part of the belt?
@charlieaf926 ай бұрын
Wow... So you can remove the slats individually but accessing the back of them (from the bottom where it sags down) and using a small wrench. The front caps on each side also pull straight off to give a bit more access.

any common issues why my tread is not turning on? I had to move it to my garage reassembled it and now it’s not firing up. I have it plugged into a non gfci outlet.
@charlieaf926 ай бұрын
It's possible the outlet is on a GFCI circuit even if the outlet itself isn't GFCI. I'd check your breaker panel to see if any breakers are tripped + look around in the garage and see if there is a GFCI outlet that has tripped that is part of the same circuit. There is also a little breaker on the Tread itself, right next to where the power cord attaches. I'd make sure that hasn't popped.
