Aren’t these cars equipped with urethane lips to serve as basically a disposable part? This is much newer than the 996 models I’m familiar with, but I assumed it’d be the same deal. I personally can’t imagine adding any weight to the suspension of a GT car. But to each their own.

@@Peter-ff1tp yes! In fact the dealer gave me an extra one when I bought the car, and it's been in storage since. The lip is perfect, what is heard scraping in this video is just the lower brake cooling duct which you can't even see unless putting it on a lift.. and after many small scrapes it looks fine and functions as normal

@@ssj_shep no but I’m a guy that uses a tracktool on track. GT models aren’t art they are made to be used and the lip is actually made of plastic so it’s cheap to replace. You’d know if you had one

@@marcelx174 Not sure what your definition is of a good road but I live in Orange county CA and the roads are amazing, this one is great too but it's appearance isn't dark black because it hasn't had a recent slurry coat. Maybe you gauge streets on if they are perfectly black or something but that road is probably 60-70 years old or more and it's smooth and just not perfectly black. Relax
