Hey Pan the 911 looks sweet I wanted to ask if you or Ivan would know, can this new ROAR coating be used with an Infrared Medium or Short Wave curing lamps per panel and if so what would the suggest cure time be for Step1 and Step 2 and what is the suggest temperature for force curing? I just invested in a IR system recently. All the NYC high end shops only use the IR lamps to do coatings. I have had hit or miss results just air curing depending on the paint, time of year and customers upkeep.

No IR needed. 1 to 24 hours between base coat and top coat (hardener) so lots of flexibility. And once hardener is applied, it only needs one hour of curing. That is crazy quick!

IR curing is possible, but very counter productive. The time to set up and move the lamp, plus the risks involved. It looks cool in a promo video, but customers are not paying you for a process, they are paying you for your service and results.

Yes. Everyone should coat their headlights and tail lights. Prevents them from oxidizing, yellowing and fading.

Nice wheels. My 991 S is the same color. Trusting you and Ivan that Roar is good stuff and easy to apply, I’m gonna drop the $500. Is there enough product in the bottles to coat both a 911 and a Macan? I’ve already coated the plastics, glass and wheels, so I’d be using the Roar only on the paint.

The rinseless wash was on the surface. He used the iron remover as a clay lubricant for the clay towel. No mixing or dilutions. The bottle contained pure iron remover.

I didn’t have much iron contamination. Nearly zero actually. So it doesn’t matter. Plus my car has carbon ceramic discs which produce little to no brake dust. ;)

Given you're in Montreal, which uses salt in the wintertime on the roads, even though you only keep a car 3 years do you do rustproofing? If so, who do you recommend. (I'm in New Brunswick - same situation with salt on the roads). Thank you. Bruce

You don't do rustproofing on German luxury brands, it actually usually voids the rust warranty. My cars always look clean and better than new when I bring them back to the dealership anyways. :)

No IR lamps needed for this coating. Some professional grade coatings need them to speed up the curing process, but not all.

Thanks!! I am just not a fan of the look or feel or PPF. Plus, as I get a brand new car every three years, and do low yearly mileage, scratches and stone chips are of now concern to me. My cars are always pristine when I bring them back to the dealership.

Nice product, I often use that or VRP. Adam’s new silicone water-based Graphene Tire Dressing isn’t bad. Perl or VRP are a bit easier to layer in order to get just the right shine I think.

Pan, I feel I have watched almost ever video you have dropped in the last 2 years but I'm missing something for the High End/Supercar/Hypercar care. I have used the search option in your channel but still couldn't find it. If I have missed the video somehow, I apologize. The question is what do we care for and protect Real Carbon Fiber? I watch America's Test Kitchen on youtube for anything cooking related like I do your channel for everything detailing related. Somewhere in my search I ran across your channel and was hooked instantly. To name a favorite video, that would be next to impossible. You have taught me so much. From the basics of detailing, to snow foam and cannons, equipment to use, spray on sealants, detailing my engine bay, cleaning wheels with massive brakes was a godsend, to applying my first ceramic coating. I love the product awards because I will spend the money and buy the best stuff the first time. I wish I could send you a photo of my first buff, polish, and ceramic coating job I did. Side note, my dealership knows not to wash my cars after servicing them. It is also funny to pull into the dealership and my paint is better looking than their brand new cars on the showroom floor. People have asked me to start a detailing service but I never thought I could afford to keep my family afloat so I never even tried. Thank you again Pan!

Pan... I would love to know where Ivan gets those cool sponge applicators with the strap backing! They are perfectly functional for this and other types of applications. I checked with Roar, but didn't see it, as well as other car product suppliers. Seems to make application smooth and effortless. ALSO... very interesting to see what you use on your special machine. It just pushes Roar up a few notches, and the thought of applying it to my '95 993 after I get some experience. Thank you for this special show!!! 👍 You have taken me all the way up from Dawn and Shop Rite soap application with one bucket to ceramics like Roar. (Thank goodness I didn't have the 911 then). Incidentally, all the gear needed to get the job done properly along the way have been purchased with your help. Not a business mind you... just personal gratification of seeing a completely clean machine and the pride it instills. Yes, the neighbors are very curious.

This also sheets like CRAZY, as you hopefully saw in the vertical panel test. Some of the best hydrophobic properties I have seen from any coating so far, period. You will see in my upcoming first wash video. :)

Hello sir. Bougth anew Tacoma 50 miles on it. And I have decided to go with the Foam prewash to start Then the iron remover. Also bought the Mothers CMX Surface prep to apply next. NOw, I have very light swirling in the paint. So I think I should use a polish next... But I have no idea what to use. Then I was going to finish using the Turtle Wax Hybrid solutions flex with Graphene. Could you tell me if I am going wrong here and what polish I should use? Many of the ones I see have wax already in it. Are those ok to use before the TW Flex? Also, how often should I do more than washing and reapplying the Flex like redo the iron remover and the CMX surface prep?

This is a $230k car. Any high end detailer will charge about $3k and above to do paint correction and ceramic covering. You can see in the video the hood still has not been buffed to a glass finish. It looks very nice but not perfect. I don't think $500 is bad as long as this product works.

@@ed389 Yes , for a only couple of detail jobs a year of a high end vehicles , if you get lucky to get them , maybe. But for every day jobs $500 it’s just a waist of money. Most people will not even consider paint correction and ceramic coating at all, maybe a wash but that’s it. And if they do, a $70 option ( Cquarts 3.0) will be more than enough. I do professional detailing and 90% of people I talk to could care less about the look of their cars , never the less spending $3000 on a detail job. Most of them haven’t even heard of ceramic coatings at all. Anyway, this Roar coating claims it last 7+ years or a lifetime if maintained properly. Well , unless the vehicle stays in the garage 90% of the time , that doesn’t matter , as if used on regular bases , it will still needs a paint correction in 4-5 years due to rock chips etc. So even if the coating is still good , but you need to do paint correction, you will have to polish it off and recoat. So why spending $500 instead $70 or $100 ? Makes no sense to me.

Hi again Pan, I ended up ordering this and will apply it on my 992 GT3. In the video when applying the hardener and he says not necessary on the windows,you comment something about the wheels, but I can’t hear what you say… could you please clarify what was said about the wheels?
