Hi Pan,as always great tips!I found what helps for keeping fresh smelling air is when using A/C for long periods and then turn off the car,the water that drips out you sometimes have residue that stays in the A/C box which with time will be stale water and will have a bad smell,so before turning off the car I set the temperature to max hot with the A/C on so it dries the water residue and let it run for a few minutes

I was paid to polish and ceramic coat a clients car all over again because he thought it would be ok to go through a automated brush car wash and he destroyed his new paint with swirls. i cancelled all my other customers to work on restoring his finish that day and he never went through one of those again. he also gave me 1000$ to supply his garage with a complete diy package and show him how to maintain his amazing Mercedes E63 for years to come. He used to clean his own cars but after back surgery he can't bend over without pain but he loves now being able to foam the car and spray it off with the pressure washer I set up permanently outside his garage and dries it with an ego electric blower. moral of the story.. do not go through those car wash tunnels unless you could care less about your finish or v your car is a work truck that has no clear coat anyway. lol

Hi Pan! Wow another great video filled with so many tips and tricks that we love! Thank you!! Regarding the clay lube I use almost exactly the same home made recipe with ONR and deionized water (from our good old friend Canadian Tire). They recommend 1:64 but somehow my experience has been better at 1:32. Also the reason why I will not and cannot use tap water in my mix is because I don't have a garage and I usually clay in direct sunlight like a mobile detailer, I know that's far from recommendable to work in direct sunlight... anyway I thought maybe it could be useful to mention since it could result in a waterspot nightmare after you have completed the car if you mix with tap water. Many thanks again for this great video Pan, and I really hope you had time to enjoy your Turbo S my friend! Take care and again many thanks for all these super useful tips and tricks!

I’ve used bluntpower concentrated air fresheners since I started my mobile business 3 years ago. One spray in each footwell as you described. It’s become a staple secret for me and I’ve had several customers tell me that’s why they always call me back lol

I’m from the Philippines. I wish I’m just near where you are. Hahaha. I want to learn and be a professional detailer but, I really don’t know where and what to start. There are a lot of car wash shops here in our area but no one do a really CAR DETAILING. I’m thinking of going to a car wash shop and ask the owner if he/she would allow me to be trained by them and just experience just to be confident on what I’m doing. I’m thinking of going to an actual process instead of going to a seminar or program that is sooo expensive here. That’s why I always watch a lot of your videos where I could get a lot of informations which I believe that some of the detailers here do not know. Thank you...

I've found the OMNI CALCULATOR Dulution Ratio Calculator to be quite helpful. I also recommend using 3 ounces of GSF to 98 ounces of water in the IK Foam Pro 12 to dial it back on soap consumption for midsize to compact cars while maintaining the 34:1 ratio.

Wonderful video, Pan. Very informative and clears up so much confusion that many may have. I'd just like to add to the dilution ratio topic, to follow the manufacturer's direction. As far as I know, Meguiar's M799 has the dilution mix reversed. In that the higher number is the product and the lower number is the water part.
