PC3 honestly nailed the scream of the car. Fh3 and 2 were close. Fh5 and 4 sounded bad. Payback had it too low but the others were good.

Interesting thing is that in the Xbox 360 version of NFS MW 2012 the Porsche 918 Spyder Concept has a very similar flat six sound that the Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0 in the same game has.

my opinion on all the sounds: gt7: sounds very good, cockpit view is just yes. fm7: sounds good aswell, maybe not on par with gt7, but still good. fm6: better than fm7, still not quite on par with gt7. ac: its good, not much else. pc3: one thing that the devs atleast nailed was the sound bc DAMN it sounds good. still not my fav but its close. pc2: it sounds glorious, my new favorite now fh5: surprisingly pretty low pitch but still sounds great, especially the cockpit view. fh4: one of the few cars they somewhat nailed the sound for, and it's not that bad. fh3: what can i say except yes. fh2: also very much yes. nfs heat unite: it sounds great, almost beats gt7. nfs hp remastered: glorious sound, almost my new favorite. nfs payback: meh, i was expecting more for a car with a high redline. nfs mw 2012: suprisingly low pitch aswell, its not bad. nfs the run: sounds good, not much to complain about. shift 2: glorious, easily my 2nd favorite. tgt game: sounds good, nothing too special. rr3: good for a mobile game. nfs nl: surprisingly hard to hear the v8 itself, but what i can hear is meh csr 2: not bad, that's all. asphalt ssr: that's not bad aswell. forza street: also not bad. a8: never knew it was in electric mode at all, and it sounds quite good. a9: can barely hear the car itself, what i heard however was meh. pc go: similar to what i said for the console/pc project cars games. gear club 2: sounds good, not much to talk about. i did not hurt my hands typing this

Shift 2 Unleashed makes the car sound absolutely bonkers, and that's amazing, but from a realistic perspective, FH3/4 is the best.

FH3>FH4 but most certainly interior sounds go to FH5. The exhaust sound shouldn't be inside the cabin too much, but most other games just muffle the external sound. FH5 took a lot more time to record and tune interior sounds to make them distinct in the right way compared to the external sound and it makes driving in first person my preferred camera view even in something like the Twin Mill.

Not to be a Forza fanboy, but I think Horizons' 918 sounds are the best (in personal favorite order): -FH5. has a lot of detail and satisfying shifting sounds. -FH3. It's just a really good scream -FH2. Pretty decent. -FH4. Uhh... The PC games also sound really good, as well as NFS Heat Unite. The Grand Tour game sounds surprisingly good too. GT7 and FH5 are my favorites, because they are realistic and well done.

My problem with the depiction in PC2 and PC3 is that the former sounds like it’s a 1000 RPM lower and the latter is 1000 RPM higher. Worst depiction here though imo is Asphalt 8 because fuck electric mode. Edit: Also it’s really sad when a shitty QTE game(that’s Forza Street) has a more accurate Porsche 918 Spyder sound than FH4 and FM7

I know they need to add an option to where when you buy a car in forza from the autoshow you can spec your car how ever you want like for example the ford gt500 mustang 2020. You can spec it to where you can have the option to have the racing stripes and have the normal pack. Or have the track pack and have no racing stripes. Another example. Bugatti with the veyron there is three different ones there is the ss the vitesse and the vitesse 16.4 grand sport wr. You can spec it to have the ss pack but have the vitesse wheels.
