How to DIY Install these headlights in a 1983 Porsche 944 to give it a nice facelift and actually be able to see at night. These also work in Jeep Wrangler's, older Mazda Miata's and any vehicle that takes a H6024 bulb. Its a great upgrade from Halogen Sealed Beam Bulbs.

Great upgrade, as even the European 944 has very poor lights, as a fellow 944 owner and an ex-Porsche technician, I strongly recommend that you fit a cover over the battery to prevent arcing on the bonnet. The original Porsche batteries were shorter than the batteries available today, always use a sealed, maintenance free battery to prevent acidic fumes when combined with the rainwater that always finds itself on top of the battery thus preventing corrosion of the battery tray. I recall that Porsche has a battery cover available.

This video came out amazing and the headlights totally transform the front end of this car. There's just something about black housing LED headlights that makes cars look so much better. And obviously now you can see much better at night haha. And the editing is definitely next level. This takes a lot of work to get all those different angles, specific shots, match it to the music, AAAAND to top it all off you made the video 9:44 hahaha which is awesome. Love it! Neep it up!!

Did you have any problems with the signals causing a weird flickering when they were on? I used the Gennssi ones and had some issues when trying to connect the signals. This is the exact way I had them connected. The videos are up on my channel.

It seemed like it worked fine. I only really tested that one night. It seems like the DRL shuts off when the blinker comes on. Then it takes a minute for the DRL to come back on after the blinkers done. But I think that’s normal. I’ll play around with it and let you know.

You have to wire it that way. You can put a switch or wire it into the turn signals or running lights.

I didn’t change any wiring. So far so good. Anything can cause a fire. The old headlights and wiring can cause a fire.

@@AndyTheXTech ok just installed them. my drivers side low beam is flicking constantly, which is the only thing i'm having issues with. Any ideas?

@@thechosenkiwi7871 I would check the connector. Give it a wiggle. If it continues swap the lights. Maybe there’s something faulty in the bulb.

I'm going to probably say I don't like it. I don't think it looks correct. I know that the car needs better lights because I have one. But I can't go with disco lights like this. Good video and good job. It just isn't right
