I know exactly how you feel. When my wife said that it is okay for me to get my dream car since life is too short, I went for it. Traded in an SUV that I also got more money for due to the pandemic. I got a 2016 Sapphire Blue 981 Cayman 2.7L and would love to take it over the Coronado bridge one day. Amazing feeling every time I get in it. Thank you for making this excellent and very well made video.

Wow. Exact same story. We are two lucky guys. The wait makes you appreciate every drive a little more. Cheers!

I’ve had my guards red 981 2.7 6MT Boxster for many years now and it still brings a smile to my face every time I drive it. It’s also very practical to tour in - my wife and I did a tour of Tasmania over several weeks last year and there was no need to compromise on luggage as the front (“frunk”) and rear luggage (“boot”) capacity easily accommodated our belongings. I also get great enjoyment from its beautiful design - there is no bad angle to view the car from. A slightly unexpected ownership result was that I no longer yearned for the more powerful and exotic Porsche sports cars. If I spent a whole lot more I don’t think I’d find the driving experience significantly more engaging or enjoyable. The only downside is the cost of servicing at official Porsche dealers, which I choose to do because the 12 year extended warranty until 2026 is still in effect. Great video - looking forward to more. 😊

Reading comments like this motivate me to make more videos. Indeed the feeling is mutual. The moment I drove the car for the first time I knew it was something different. I feel perfectly content with the power output paired with the handling.

Wow. High praise my friend. I’m trying to create something I felt was missing from my own feed. I have a pretty diverse lineup coming up. Potentially a NSX and a very very unique Porsche 912 coming soon.

Great video….i did something similar but with a 987.1 Boxster S….loved that car. Recently had an opportunity to trade it in for a low mileage 2017 718 manual and jumped on it. P cars with the engine behind the driver is pure bliss; rear or mid engine they are incredible.

Love this video. Really captured what it means to be a car enthusiast and to truly appreciate what owning a Porsche feels like as a driver. Are there more like this in the pipeline?

Love the video and it’s amazing. I got my cayman 981 few months back and love to drive every time when I see the car. Porsche are fun to drive and make you smile with the engine note.

I couldn't agree more. If you think of smiles as value, this purchase was the best one I've ever made.

I share a similar story. I always wanted a pure-bred sports car. For several years after Covid-19 I used exclusively taxis and public transport, nut checked classified once in a while to look at cars like STi, M2, Cayman. I found my future car 9 months before I bought it and kept going to the ad to look at it. One day my wife told me that if I dont buy it I'll regret all my life and that I can afford it. Needless to sat that vver since I bought my 981 Cayman three years ago not a single time I regretted my decision. Definitely a car I intend keeping for as long as possible. P.S. And it appreciated in value as well =)

I'm finding out that a lot of us share the same story. I had the hardest time justifying the purchase but once I drove the Cayman for the first time, I can never go back.

After watching this had to cruise on my 2016 Cayman S pdk. It’s such a stable and predictable car. A different rush to drive compared to my Evo x and C8 zo6. It just feels right driving it.
