Would you take the 991.2 Manual GT3 or the 997.2 RS?

Certainly the 997 RS. It’s more hardcore and brings flair (looking) and emotions 😎 Also limited, plexiglas windows etc. So more special👌Curious about the comparison with a 997 RS 4.0

Oh God the sound of that 991... Too bad that it seems because of the regulations the 992 won't keep this engine but it'll get the one from the new GT4 and Spyder, I base this assumption on the fact that they developed a new engine, no way they'd do it just for Cayman/Boxster

They could put it in a special edition 911 carrera. I hope they keep the 9,000 rpm screamer in the GT3.

The 992 GT3 will have the Speedster engine since it meets the latest emission regulation. That engine is bascially the 991 GT3 engine with particulate filters.

Yep, 1 line review. Car feels awesome, would say it's a bit better low speed and high speed. Can't give much more than that as really need to A/B the setups.

991.2 manual GT3 is definitely a better track weapon. Although 997.2 RS production numbers are lower and that single mass flywheel is sweet! 🤪

Pretty much, 997 is more engaging but the rawness makes it less easy to live with

I can tell by the look of your face you had a great time. I'm aiming to get a 997.2 GT3 as soon as soon as I can, but it appears quite tail happy in your vid. Isn't it supposed to be buttoned down with more aggressive aero settings, better geometry, etc compared to 997.1 and earlier models? Or is that because you set the rear sway bar at or near full stiff? I cannot handle oversteer like you do so deftly and am generally uncomfortable with too much movement at the back. I want my rear to be as planted as the 991's if that's possible. Edit: The rear end stability I'm talking about is with regards to corner entry and exit. I understand the 991 is the more stable car going straight or through fast sweepers.

997 is much more of a driver's car. The 991 is faster, more comfortable and more efficient.
