The light in the engine compartment does not function on my 997. After replacing the bulb and housing. Any suggestions for further troubleshooting?

Can u tell me how to unclip the frunk emergency latch, im trying to remove the carpet but the wire wont come out

I’m having the issue you spoke about where the lights won’t turn off and there is a beep once I lock the door. Any insight as to what could be causing that?
